Indian inland postcard (1947-1950) with a violet 35 annas stamp, sent from V. P. Kalanau, Gurdaspur district (Punjab) to the Institution of Engineers in Calcutta. The reverse bears the inscription 'UNTTOUCHABILITY IS A CRIME AGAINST GOD AND MAN' and a post office stamp from Delhi dated October 8, 1947.
