Indian interior postcard from 1947, bearing a violet 35 annas stamp with the effigy of Queen Elizabeth II, sent to the Institution of Engineers of India in Calcutta. The reverse shows an illustration of Gandhi with the motto « Untouchability is a crime against God and man », as well as a postmark from Calcutta dated 22.10.47. The sender is identified as D. Gower.
