The reverse shows a Delhi postmark with the date 13-3-48, an image of Gandhi, and the slogan 'UNTTOUCHABILITY IS A CRIME AGAINST GOD AND MAN'. The handwritten address is directed to the Secretary of the Institution of Engineers in Calcutta. The reverse also indicates 'NO ENCLOSURES ALLOWED' and 'WRITE PIN CODE IN ADDRESS'.
