Description

Indian interior postcard dated around 1947, addressed to the Secretary of the Institution of Engineers (India) in Calcutta. The reverse indicates the sender Prabhakot Ghosh in Dagarpara. A violet 5 annas stamp is affixed, with a circular cancellation from Calcutta dated 28-3-47. The reverse also features an inscription in Hindi and English: 'TOUCHABILITY IS A CRIME AGAINST GOD AND MAN'.
