Interior Indian postcard dated around 1950, sent from Madras to Culcetta, with a violet 35 annas stamp and a cancellation mark 'TEMPORARY' in Culcetta. The reverse indicates the recipient's address: 'The Director General, Institute of Engineers, 8, Gokhale Road, Culcetta - 20', and the sender's address: 'T. Dilleswar Rao, 183, N.T.R. Street, Rangaraja Puram, Madras - 24'. A postmark from Madras is visible on the reverse, as well as an English inscription: 'UNTTOUCHABILITY IS A CRIME AGAINST GOD AND MAN'.
