Description

Monument to J.-B. Carpeaux in Valenciennes, depicting a monumental sculpture with carved figures in a rocky block. The base bears the inscription 'J.B CARPEAUX 1827-1875'. On the reverse, a postcard sent to Madame Paul Durieux in Cédéil, with a blue 25-centime stamp and a postmark from Valenciennes dated April 21, 1904.
