Black and white view of the Notre-Dame du Port cathedral in Clermont-Ferrand, with its imposing bell tower and tiled roofs. The reverse has a handwritten letter dated June 27, addressed to a 'dear friend' in Paris, mentioning the Granger Hotel in Besançon and the Hotel de la Poste in Clermont-Ferrand.
