View of Friedrich Wilhelm Platz in Aachen, with the wrought-iron basin (Elisenbrunnen) in the center, bordered by trees and historic buildings. Printed text in German, with a handwritten inscription in French 'Aix la chapelle' in the top right corner. Reverse: address to Madame Thérillon, chief nurse at the hospital in Beaumais, with handwritten French text and a postmark dated 1928.
