Interior of the cathedral in Aachen showing the royal chair of Charlemagne, beneath a decorated ceiling and arches with flat arches. Printed text at the bottom: 'Aachen. - Krönungsstuhl Karls des Grossen.' The reverse features handwritten correspondence dated 21/4/1915, addressed to 'Mauricette Noël' in Neuilly-Plaisance, with a 1910 Swiss postmark and an 'Aachen' cancellation.
