View of a pond surrounded by bare trees at the Abbey of Port-Royal, with a handwritten inscription 'Bonne baisers de la comtine de la Moraille'. The reverse has a handwritten address to Mademoiselle Madeleine Godefroy in Grugny, near Rio-Grangis, and a 5-centime postage stamp canceled at Saint-Clair-sur-Epte.
