Description

Interior view of the chapter room of the Abbey of St-Savin, near Argelès, in the Hautes-Pyrénées, showing pointed arch vaults and carved columns. In the foreground, a potted plant near a stained-glass window. On the reverse, a handwritten letter addressed to Mr. Maurice de Saint-Daval in Lourdes, with a 15-centime postal stamp and a cancellation from Sainte-Enimie (22-3-20) dated 22 March 1920.
