Postcard showing the limestone tomb of Béatrice and her daughter Jeanne, with a reclining female statue and a small dog at their feet, inside the Abbey of Fontenelles. The printed text relates the popular legend that mothers would implore the penitent for the health of their children. Reverse: handwritten address to Madame Héloïse at La Val, with a 5 franc stamp and postmark from La Roche-sur-Yon dated 16 June 1948.
