Description

Black and white aerial view of the Abbey Notre-Dame-de-la-Grande-Trappe, located near Doligy-la-Trappe (Orne), surrounded by forests and fields. The reverse has a handwritten inscription in French, signatures of several monks, and an address to Monsieur Rechberg in Chapelle Montligeon. A violet 5 franc stamp is affixed, with an obliteration of 'CHAMPAGNE' and a note '3 k. 5 de Doligy-la-Trappe (Orne)' at the bottom.
