Description

Black and white view of the east cloister of the Abbey of Ste Marie-du-Désert, decorated with natural flowers for the procession of the Feast of the Holy Sacrament. The reverse features a long handwritten letter in cursive script, addressed to Mrs. B. Rivard in Paris, with a 16-centime postage stamp and a postmark from Sainte-Marie.
