Description

View of the Gardette Gate in Aigues-Mortes, an imposing stone fortified gate with rounded towers and battlements, framed by trees and animated by a few people. The front shows the inscription 'LL.7 AIGUES-MORTES' and 'Gardette Gate'. The back shows handwritten correspondence to Mlle Le Mée Nicole in Saint-Brieuc, two postage stamps (2 francs and 1 franc), and a cancellation from AIGUES-MORTES.
