View of the Roman cloister of the cathedral in Aix-en-Provence, dating from the 11th century, with its columns and round arches. The reverse bears an address to Monsieur G. Cotillot in Saint-Étienne, a handwritten inscription 'Bonne fête, bons jours, cordialement, L. Cissier' and a green 30-centime stamp canceled in Aix-en-Provence.
