View of the Great Fountain of Aix-en-Provence, adorned with sculptures and water jets, in a wooded park. The reverse bears a handwritten letter addressed to 'My dear wife', dated 1927, signed 'G. L.' in Paris, with a mention of returning to Aix-en-Provence.
