View of the Great Fountain in Aix-en-Provence, surrounded by trees and a few passersby, dated January 23, 1919. The back contains a handwritten letter addressed to a close relative, mentioning the city and the desire to remain in Aix, as well as the recipient's address in Paris. The stamp and cancellation are illegible.
