View of the Roman cloister from the 11th century in Aix-en-Provence, with its arches and stone columns. On the reverse, a postcard sent to Madame Merthe Edonard in Châtillon-sur-Chalaronne (Ain), with handwritten text and a 10-centime French postage stamp canceled in Aix-en-Provence on 20-10-1918.
