View of an obelisk adorned with an angel statue at the top, in front of an arcade building, in Aix-en-Provence. The reverse features a handwritten letter addressed to Madame Racodon in Marseille, with a 30-centime postmark and a cancellation from Aix-en-Provence dated 17.14. The printed text mentions 'The Church of the Madeleine'.
