View of a historic ornate portal with sculptures of nude figures on capitals, with a carved wooden door and a stone staircase. On the reverse, a postcard sent from Aix-en-Provence, dated September 29, 1942, with a 120-centime stamp and handwritten text mentioning the Palace of Valence. The publisher is Rellás, and the recipient is in Cimiez.
