Description

Sepia-toned view of a dramatic sunset over the Sanguinaires islands, with rays of light piercing a cloudy sky. On the reverse, a postcard dated 18 April 1940, sent from Ajaccio (Corsica) with two 20-centime stamps and a postmark. The handwritten text mentions a journey in the wild and the beauty of the landscape. Recipient in Annemasse (Haute-Savoie).
