Black and white view of the Îles Sanguinaires and the lighthouse of La Parata in Ajaccio, with a winding path on the rocky cliff. On the back, a handwritten letter dated May 26, 1917, addressed to a 'dear friend' in Ajaccio, expressing regret at not being able to go with him and wishing news from his 'dear friend'.
