View of the Town Hall of Alençon, a classical building with a central clock and symmetrical façade. Reverse: handwritten text describing a café, mentioning the nave of the Sainte-Croix Cathedral (built in flamboyant Gothic style before 1416, destroyed by fire in 1718) and a note on the 'ball of the Duke of Maine'.
