Description

Richly decorated interior of the audience hall of the Commercial Court in Alençon, dating from the 17th century, with a large carved fireplace mantel, ornate woodwork, and a coffered ceiling. On the reverse, handwritten address to Mademoiselle Gilberte Lecointre in Naves-sur-Fluise, Orne, with a 5-centime green stamp and postmark from Mantes-sur-Fluise dated 14 May 1914.
