Description

Interior view of the Notre-Dame d'Afrique church in Algiers, showing the main altar under an arch and pews of worshippers. Above the altar, an inscription reads: 'NOTRE DAME CONSOLATRICE DES AFFLICTIONS POUR NOUS ET LES NOS'. The reverse features a handwritten letter dated October 9, 1924, addressed to Mme Perches in Sarthe, from the sender 'Souvenir D'Alger' signed G. Lhais.
