Black and white view of the port of Algiers with a lighthouse in the background, piers lined with arcaded buildings and numerous moored boats. On the back, a handwritten letter dated 1928, addressed to 'Cher, Damiette', mentioning travels to Cherchell, Touna and Ora, with a signature 'T. Ophans'.
