View of the military port of Algiers taken from the lighthouse, showing numerous ships and boats in the port, with colonial architecture in the background. On the reverse, handwritten correspondence addressed to Madame Baudroux in Haillan, Gironde, with a 5-centime French postage stamp and a cancellation of 'LE HAILLAN' dated 10 April 1908.
