Colorized view of the Basilica Notre-Dame d'Afrique in Algiers, viewed from a wooded promontory with the sea in the background. The reverse features a handwritten letter dated May 15, 1939, addressed to a recipient in Port-Saïd, with a signature 'M. M.' and a note of 'Recruitment'.
