Interior view of the Mauresque Gallery of the Winter Palace in Algiers, showing pointed arches and carved balustrades. On the reverse, there is a handwritten correspondence dated around 1900, addressed to Michel Servel in Paris, with a description of the city and its inhabitants. The postmark and cancellation are visible.
