Description

Two veiled women in traditional attire are photographed on steps decorated with patterns. The reverse indicates a visit to the « Bardo » in Algiers, with handwritten correspondence addressed to Mrs. Coëlle Gaillard in Montelus, and mentions the publisher Jomone, rue Levacher, Algiers. Algerian stamp and cancellation dated 1957.
