Description

Colorized aerial view of Algiers from the Admiralty, showing the port with numerous boats, the quays and the city extending gently up the hills. The reverse features a handwritten address to Mme Eugène Grandenain in Boynes (Loiret), with an Algerian postage stamp dated 2 April 1935 and a dispatch cancellation 'FAITES EN ALGER'.
