Illustrated postcard depicting a donkey in red attire in a meadow, with a humorous poem at the bottom: 'Ane l'on me nomme, Ma femme est bourrique, Sommes amis de l'homme, Non avec... sa trique'. Reverse: handwritten letter sent from 'LUS-LA-CROIX HAUTE' (Drôme) to Paris, with a 25-centime postage stamp and postmark of 18-3-1954. The publisher is indicated as 'LES ALPES PITTORESQUES' on the reverse.
