Description

Panoramic view of the Couvercle Hut in Chamonix, nestled beneath a massive rock formation at the foot of a snow-covered glacier, with steep mountains in the background. On the reverse, a 20-centime French Republic stamp dated 1932, Chamonix-Mont-Blanc postmark, and a handwritten address to Madame Blance in La Rochette (Savoie).
