Postcard showing mountaineers climbing on a snowy glacier, with printed text in German at the bottom: 'Greeting from the glacier world!'. The back has a handwritten address to 'Mademoiselle de Pierrebourg, Vauxbein, Prés Poittons', a red 20-cent Swiss stamp dated August 29, 1899, and a postal mark from Interlaken with a violet pension stamp.
