Mountain scene showing several climbers crossing a glacier using a fixed metal ladder attached to a snowy wall. The printed text at the bottom of the postcard reads « Passage d'une échelle Route du Mont-Blanc » and mentions « Geneva ». On the reverse, there is a handwritten letter addressed to Algiers, Algeria, dated June 23, 1908, with a postage stamp and a cancellation from Lausanne.
