Description

Black and white view of the Clos Lucé castle in Amboise, showing its Gothic architecture with a tower, pointed-arch windows, and carved details. The reverse indicates that it was built by Estienne Le Loup for Louis XI in 1471, and later that Charles VIII and Anne of Brittany added a chapel, and that Leonardo da Vinci died there in 1519. The publisher is mentioned as Éditions d'Art Française, Paris.
