Description

Pagoda of Chanteloup, built by Le Camus between 1775 and 1778 for the Duke of Choiseul, in order to immortalize his gratitude to those who visited his chateau during his exile. Reverse: postcard sent to Madame Pierre Em. Martin in Nievro, with a handwritten letter of 'Chère Grand'mama' and a French postage stamp canceled in Nieuvres on April 14, 1925.
