Portrait of Amédée Couesnon, outgoing deputy, in suit and tie, with mustache, against a neutral background. The back contains a handwritten letter dated April 19, 1910, addressed to a fellow citizen, in which he announces his candidacy for the legislative election on April 24 and promises to defend the agricultural, industrial, and commercial interests of the district. He also mentions his commitment to an economy of 1,300,000 francs for the war and navy, and a promise of at least 500,000 francs in capital. The letter is signed 'A. Couesnon, Outgoing Deputy'.
