Panoramic view of the Amiens cathedral, taken from the Belfry, with the city rooftops in the background. The reverse contains a handwritten letter addressed to the mother, dated 1916, where the sender recounts his return to Amiens after a day at the ambulance and expresses his discomfort in the trench.
