Description

Black and white view of the ancient castle of Blandy-les-Tours, whose ruins of a cylindrical stone keep are partially covered with vegetation, surrounded by trees. The reverse features a handwritten letter addressed to Mademoiselle Chenet in Rochefort-en-Yonne, with a 10-centime postmark and a cancellation from CIVRY-COURT (Seine-et-Marne) dated 29 May 1918.
