Bronze statue of Chevreul sitting on an ornate pedestal with his name engraved, in the Jardin des Plantes of Angers. The reverse has a handwritten address to Madame Chevalier in Constantine (Sarthe), with a red stamp canceled in black ink and a note on the front about the non-acceptance of correspondence by all foreign countries.
