Statue of Marguerite de Valois in Angoulême, on an ornate base, surrounded by trees and a building in the background. The back features handwritten correspondence addressed to Madame la Maîtresse D. Lafont in Paris, with three postage stamps (25c and 1fr) and a circular cancellation dated 12 October 1904.
