Description

View of the Chalain-la-Polberie Castle in Anjou, with its south facade reflected in a pond dotted with lilies. The photograph is signed Drouard, at Pouancé, and bears the number 817. The reverse shows a handwritten letter addressed to Madame d'Aulau in Versailles, with two 15-centime postage stamps and a postmark from La Vraie (Loiret) dated May 30, 1929.
