Description

Black and white view of the Gorges du Fier, featuring a suspended metal bridge between steep cliffs and a river below. The reverse has handwritten text expressing admiration for the landscape, addressed to Madame Decoster and her son in Paris. Two French stamps (30 and 40 centimes) are affixed, with a postmark from Annecy dated May 17, 1947.
