Description

View taken from the southern promenade, at the edge of the Scheldt, showing the spire of Notre-Dame Cathedral, begun in the 13th century and completed in the 16th century according to the plans of Dominique de Waghemakere. The spire, 123 meters high, is in the radiating Gothic style with a flamboyant gallery. On the reverse, the publisher's name E. Desaix, Brussels, is visible.
