View of a stream surrounded by many weeping willows, with a small wooden bridge visible in the background. The reverse bears a handwritten letter dated July 28, 1916, addressed to Madame Vadeville in Châtenois, signed by Charles Aisner. The postmark is canceled in Chât-en-Chaource.
