Black and white view of a river landscape with rocky cliffs and a river, typical of the Griffours Rocks. The reverse features handwritten text praising the beauty of the location, addressed to Mrs. Blandin and Mr. General Girard, with a 20-centime postage stamp and a cancellation mark 'ARGENTON (Deux-Sèvres)' dated 1947.
