View of the famous Roman necropolis of Arles, dated from the Roman era, abandoned at the end of the 11th century after the translation of Saint Trophime's body to the church of Saint Etienne in 1152. The ruins of the church of Saint Honorat are visible. Verso: handwritten correspondence dated February 8, 1909, to Mr. Ch. Friant in Versailles.
