View of the monumental entrance to the medieval Alyscamps cemetery in Arles, dated to the 12th century, with a decorated pointed arch and a wooden door. On the reverse, a handwritten letter addressed to Marcel Gerbée in Lyon, with a postage stamp and a cancellation from Arles dated 26 June 1906.
